we recently arrived home from a long summer trip to new hampshire. i didn't take too many
photos this year (bad mom!), but the ones i did manage to snap are worth sharing.
here is will moments after landing on new hampshire soil and getting strapped into the
car seat in pappi's car. he is eating his 423rd cracker of the day. "cracka!!!"
the evening of luke and kaitlyn's wedding, will was babysat by auntie ann, auntie erin,
uncle andy, and cousins danny and patrick. i'm pretty sure patrick did most of the work.
it was a very exciting night for will. a chance to hang with nan-ny! all night! what could be better?
we spent lots of time outside on pappi and manny's porch (yes, it appears grammy is manny,
at least for the time being). actually, we spent a lot of time opening and closing the
screen door and going inside to outside and outside to inside, and occasionally bringing our
choo choos inside to outside and outside to inside.
the following is the last known picture of manny's reading glasses. sorry, manny.
and finally, here are will and daddy on the boat. will fell asleep on all four boat
rides he went on. something about the hum of the engine and the humid lake
air and the beating sun got him every time.
in other news from nineteen-month-old land (nineteen months! wow!), will has absolutely no sense of danger and i fear our first er trip isn't too far off. he's a real wild man. it's wonderful, and scary. language is continuing to bloom, as is his sweet, charming, willful personality. pizza and chicken fingers are still the only cooked foods he eats (on a good day), but he did put a nectarine in his mouth yesterday. he loves cars and trains and all things that go, dogs and kitties, and being "ousside."
he has the most beautiful face i've ever seen.
and stinky feet. very stinky feet.
