Wake up in swing, usually covered in some poop. Cry for Mommy. Pee in the air, and maybe poop a little more, when Mommy changes me (this is called starting the day with a "poo-xplosion," and it's what we do most days).
8:00 a.m.
Nurse and read "You are My I Love You" or "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" (gotta stay upright after I eat to let that milk go down right... darn reflux).
8:30 a.m.
Lay on the play mat and swing at Sir Chimes-a-lot and Mr. Shark. Reluctantly have some tummy time. Sit in the Bumbo Seat and read the paper (a little book that makes a crinkle noise when you touch it).
9:30 a.m.
Go in the Baby Einstein activity center. Roll the rolly thing. Grab on to Mr. Sunflower. Poo-xplode. Have Mommy change diaper and clothes, and clean activity center seat.
10:00 a.m.
Nurse and fall asleep in Mommy's arms. Take a nap in the bassinet.
11:00 a.m.
Wake up screaming. Change diaper, and perhaps clothes again. Go on a walk in the Baby Bjorn with Mommy and Bean.
12:00 p.m.
Visit with Grandma or Auntie Kelly. Watch Thomas the Train or the Wiggles from bouncy seat. Read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear."
1:00 p.m.
Change diaper and nurse again.
1:30 p.m.
Nap, usually in the swing.
2:30 p.m.
Wake up screaming. Change diaper. Hang out on play mat with Sir Chimes-a-lot and Mr. Shark and do a little more tummy time. Go on another walk with Mommy and Bean. Watch the sheep go round and round in my crib.
4:30 p.m.
Nap. Where? Who knows. The car seat, perhaps.
5:30 p.m.
Nurse. Take a bath and get into pajamas. Mommy brushes my hair and my bald spot.
6:00 p.m.
Daddy's home! He's fun. We play.
7:30 p.m.
Daddy changes my diaper. Then we read some books, usually "Guess How Much I Love You," and I try to eat the pages. Then I nurse.
8:00 p.m.
Down to bed in my crib. I usually cry for a bit while Mommy and Daddy take turns singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Sometimes they put a bottle in my mouth to see if that helps. It doesn't.
8:30 p.m.
They finally give up and put me in my swing, and after a few minutes of happy chatting, I fall asleep.
One or two night time feedings and diaper changes later, I'm ready to start my day again!
