pieces of april

april has been a frantic, hold-your-breath, don't-stop-until-you-drop sort of month for us.  

and wet. very wet.  but, today the sun is shining, the air is warm, the condo is under contract, 

and our new house awaits us.  

these april showers were more like thunderstorms - tornadoes, actually - 

but, to us, may's flowers will be her most beautiful yet.

i may be biased, but she's the prettiest little flower i've ever seen.

easter, briefly

the easter bunny has come and gone!  

will had tons of fun lining his hopping bunnies up like train cars,

and i really enjoyed dressing quinn like an easter egg.

i was here.

i really hate photos of myself.  

i never look quite right and end up wishing i wasn't in the photo to begin with.  

so i tend to avoid cameras as much as possible.  

however, i was thinking about this article the other day, 

and decided i'd leave will some evidence that i was, after all, here.  

we spent a lot of nap time together last week fighting croup, you see. 

this is how we spent tuesday afternoon.

this is where we found ourselves wednesday.

and here we were again on thursday.

i don't miss croup, but i sure do miss those sweet toddler snuggles.

see, will, i was here, holding you in my arms, and cherishing every moment of it.
